About Otherstudio

Otherstudio was founded by Cassiana Basso in 2013. Cassiana studied fashion, draping and pattern making at FIT and Central Saint Martins. After 7 years in the draping and pattern making field, developing patterns for Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen and Jason Wu to name a few, she turned her passion for fabrics, textures and proportion towards interior design. Cassiana started Otherstudio as a side project, while still in the fashion industry, but quickly took the leap to a career in interior design after receiving multiple commissions.

In the past 10 years Otherstudio has developed a number of commercial projects in the field of healthcare and hospitality as well as residential projects in the United States and Brazil.
